Kharab is a one-take psychological short film inspired by the filmmaker’s experience surviving the Beirut port explosion on August 4, 2020. The film explores the invisible aftermath of trauma, following a character trapped between fragmented memories, fear, and the struggle to process a life-altering event. Through its continuous form and immersive perspective, Kharab reflects the disorienting experience of survival and the lasting emotional impact of catastrophe.
